Wonderful, World Heritage-listed Bath is an impressive mix of Georgian architecture and Roman legacy. Its most famous landmark is the fantastic, natural hot spring Roman Baths. Although everything above the pillar bases is from a later period, you still get an idea of its appearance in Roman times. Sadly you can’t bathe here, but across the street the rooftop pool at Thermae Bath Spa offers views of Bath Abbey and the surrounding hills.
Check out the stained-glass windows in the abbey, England’s last remaining Gothic church. Its square houses Pump Rooms dispensing hot spring water from the Roman baths.
Just behind, the Parade Gardens by the River Avon overlook Bath Rugby Club, the multi-levelled Pulteney Weir and Grade I-listed Pulteney Bridge, lined with shops. Other Bath shopping options are the Southgate Shopping Centre, the bohemian Walcot Street market, and high street stores on Milsom and George streets.
North is The Circus, a circular square lined with Georgian townhouses, only marginally less impressive than the Royal Crescent down the road. You can now visit number 1 Royal Crescent, restored to its 18th-century glory.
Before heading to Bristol Airport from your Bath accommodation, take time to try the famous Sally Lunn Bun and stop at the pleasant pubs along the Kennet and Avon Canal.

The cultural buzz - live music, street art, the history and all the things to do. I can't wait to go back!! The Toulouse Lautrec and Master of Monmarte show was amazing. And there are so many fantastic places to eat and little streets to explore. Also, the American Museum and Garden is worth a visit!!

Bath is such a cool little city!
Bath is such a cool little city! Everything is wildly walkable and there is no shortage of food options. I recommend doing a walking tour if you are interested in learning more about the city’s history. However you couldn’t go wrong just walking around and enjoying the lovely building and gardens!

It’s a beautiful walkable city, with history, great views, green spaces and corners to explore. Also a wide range of shops and restaurants and a good buzz about it. Enjoyed a walk over Pulteney Bridge to Holbourne Museum then along canal back to town and followed river.

Cozy and compact historic city with lots of atmosphere.
Cozy and compact historic city with lots of atmosphere. Very lively in terms of activities, entertainment and food options. What we missed was a multi-operator tourist public transport ticket option that saves you the hassle of studying the ticketing system in depth.

Bath is a beautiful city, with many historic buildings.
Bath is a beautiful city, with many historic buildings. In addition, the local people were so friendly and helpful, and made us feel very welcome wherever we went. There are many food and drink outlets, music venues, cultural opportunities, including theatre, music, galleries, parks and antiques we were left wanting more! It is easy to walk around Bath, although less active people may find the ups and downs of the streets a challenge. However this is a city surrounded by hills and many lovely walks so it should be clear that hills and inclines are part of the scenery. Parking is at a premium due to the nature of the evolution of the city, and we used the Just Park App, and parked on someone's drive. We felt very comfortable that the car would be safe. The Infinity Pool at the Thermae Spa is everything it looks on the ads and a must visit for us next time too. Can't wait to go again.

Fantastic vibe yet calm .
Fantastic vibe yet calm . Turn busy corners then quiet ones so many restaurants and cafes to choose from. Bars shope galore. Banks. Transport. Good boat trip on the river Avon. Friendly people. Lots of places of worship. Yummy choices of icecream places. Very quaint. Thermae baths must to do...lovely roman discoveries limestone buildings...very talented buskers. Loved it
It was pricier than what we'd normally pay for a hotel, but having seen the reviews and photos online, we decided to book anyway. I can honestly say it was the best hotel we've every stayed at. The central location was perfect - close to Bath Abbey, the Roman Baths, the Pump Room, Pulteney Bridge and the shops. The building itself is really quaint and situated next door to the famous Sally Lunn Tea Rooms. Our room was beautifully decorated and had ample space. The staff were very welcoming and breakfast was really good also.
Beautiful boutique hotel in the Town centre. The breakfast was great, many options to choose from at the downstairs café which was full of character. The next door pub wad also fun for a drink. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking at the nearby Waitrose, 2 min walk from the hotel was convenient. Our room was rather small but worked well for one night stay. Bed and linnen very comfortable. Bathroom was spacious and shower was great! Overall a great stay.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Went out of their way to be welcoming. Hotel is perfectly situated to all the major sights. The Royal Bath Theatre is right across the street! I have mobility issues and tire easily, I had no issues being able to visit a site then rest then go back out again! I had a room without any windows, which I knew when I booked it. I didn’t miss it as the air conditioning was amazing. Coolest room I’ve had yet in the UK.
Great location in upper Bath, which is a lovely part of town, very near The Circus and Royal Crescent. Our room ( Master Deluxe) was very spacious and comfortable, with a huge bathroom. Breakfast was included in our rate and was very good, with many choices. The hotel has several nice common rooms and lots of outdoor seating as well. Staff were all friendly. We also took advantage of the valet parking which was super convenient.
This was THE cheapest property on the system in Bath during our booking and compared with filfy 2 star hotel rooms in that price range we got spacious clean apartment 10 minutes level walk through nice park to Bath center with free parking space, Netflix, fully functioning kitchen in character Georgian house. Very good value for money if you can cope with few disadvantages
The Tyndall Villa Boutique B&B is a lovely place to stay. We really liked the room we had, which was beautifully decorated and spacious. The bed was really comfortable too. The staff were lovely. The breakfast was really nice. Bath city centre is located within a 15-minute walk from the B&B. I would definitely book to come back here again. Thank you.
Location is fantastic. Central to Bath makes for easy walking in the main down town area. Room was beautiful as well as the whole facility. Staff incredibly friendly. Everything in mini bar comes with the room so that you don't feel like you are going to get hit with a cost for just looking at a beer in the fridge. Would highly recommend this hotel.
The staff at this property were delightful, nothing was too much trouble and they anticipated and responded to stuff quickly and efficiently, particularly the Spa Manager who handled a issue my daughter had very. Thank you.
The breakfast was excellent and despite the hotel being very busy the service and food quality remained 5*
Lovely boutique hotel. Town centre a short walk away. Central location. Room was spacious and clean with all amenities. Large TV, minibar, bathroom was stunning. Reception and check in was very professional and helpful. Parking available for 20 a night. Would definitely stay there again. Price was great value for mid week stay.
Hotel is in a fantastic location. We received a room upgrade and had a large suite which was beautiful - very comfortable and spacious and a lovely bathroom. Nice towels. Room service was okay. Free EV charging (included in the - expensive - cost of the car park + valet service). Concierge was quite good.
The location is right in the middle of Bath within a short walk of the shops and tourist attractions. Parking is available underneath the hotel which was very convenient. The hotel decor was modern and our room was perfect for a family of four. Everything was clean and the staff very helpful.
Very nice airy and bright fantastic location not to far from city centre, amazing reception when we first walked in the hosts were amazing they had a certain panache about them I would highly recommend Brindleys B&B in bath, over high profile hotels thank you we will be back shortly
This is a lovely hotel in a great location a stones throw from Bath city centre. The building is old and the hotel accomodation refelcts the historuc nature of this part of Bath. The staff were very accomodating and breakfast wsa very good. I enjoyed my stay.
The Hotel is very easy to get to and has lovely views over Bath. The staff were helpful and the room clean and nice.
The Hotel is conveniently adjacent to a Bus stop into central Bath, saving a car ride in (really hard), or walking (a little steep for us).
The bar area was nice, I liked the breakfast although there were very limited vegan options. I just had beans on toast. The room was pretty good and spacious. Location to Bath city centre is very good and room was pretty cheap for the dates.
Lovely new hotel in Bath. Friendly staff, lovely clean bedrooms and bathrooms. Central location and good breakfast. I arrived at 11.30 and the room was ready to check in early which was great. Would recommend.
Excellent breakfast with choices that might put many 5 star Hotels in their place.
Confortable beds and the parking space right at the location.
Easy walking distance to Bath city centre.
